That must've been freakin sweet to do during the blackout.

PS. Ohio is sorry for causing that.

My lexus actually crossed Nebraska at 95 with my dad driving. So on the way back my step mom had to out do him. She had the cruise set at 100.

They had my ~ 85 year old grandparents in the back seat. All they noticed was they couldn't read the road signs because they were going so fast. Now that proves how nice a GS is at high speeds.

245 km/h. Google tells me that's 152 mph.

No fuel cutoff, the road was empty and straight but I could see a truck mergingon the highway up ahead so I just let off. The stability at that speed was impressive, I only felt the slightest instability upon initially letting off the gas.

I usually don't go over 130 km/h or 80 mph and speed limit on the street. That night was just too ideal to passup for a personal land-speed record.

130mph is the fastest I've pushed in my "old" GS300. I've yet to push the GS430 past 110mph.

The fastest I've ever pushed a car period was in my old '89 Nissan 240sx. Got her up to 155mph and still had some room to go. The speedo needle had swung all the way to the bottom and hit the bottom of the bezel around 130mph. There was no speed cut or rev limiter.

Hit 105 the other day in my GS300 trying to scare a new trainee. I wasn't even close to having the pedal down. I can't image what would happen to me if I had a GS4.

Hmmm, your speedo is over-optimistic. GS300s max out at 143mph/230kmh.
