I posted that last thread(didn't plan to push 200+) in there more than a year ago. As of late, the fastest I've gone was 178, GPS verified.

I've since changed my opinion since last year and I'm trying to reach that 200+ mark lol. It will be achieved with a 6 speed manual trans, a race motor revving to around 9000rpm, and putting down approx 1100whp

Of course there will be extensive chassis strengthening and improvements as well.

AND, it will be done at the Texas Mile event...definitely not going to push my luck on that one on the streets lol.

ive done 148 and that was verified by the max speed on my GPS. it was on an interstate at 4am in the middle of nowhere.... no traffic of course...

when you say race motor do you mean you are building up another GTE? or just strengthening your current one? And im assuming the 6 speed from the supra? but u never know whith the mad science you pull off i wouldnt be suprised to see the tranny coming from the Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust haha

I'm building a new motor. I have two complete(spare) GTE engines sitting in my garage lol. New motor will be built from the ground up with everything balanced and blueprinted to better/tighter than factory specs. That engine will be seeing 9000rpm on a regular basis. My goal is to surpass 1000whp with around 35psi or so. That's what I'm really trying to aim for.

As for the trans, yes 6spd out of the Supra.

What up guys, interested in hearing how fast some of you guys whip these cars around. Mine is my daily so I dont beat on it much, Im gentle to my baby lol. But lets hear it....and let everyone know what you got goin on under the hood. Turbo, non turbo, intake, V8, I6, etc...

For me....I have never gone faster than 110 mph. 02 Gs300, Weapon R Secret Weapon Intake, new aftermarket headers/cats, resonators removed. Wish I had a turbo ha. I have 180k and Im scared to get on it lol

I thought the cut off speed is 120mph. Is it 155 from reading this post?
