I use a Saris Bat on my car to carry my Ventana El Saltamontes 
. I have towels cut into small squares that I put under each of the contact points. The Saris can fit on the rear of my car over the spoiler which is nice.

Hey Benzo, how easy is it for you to put that rack up? I mean are you able to take it down when you want or is it pretty permanent, i.e. screwed/bolted on. Another question, is it locked on so that no one can steal it?
