Exactly what they say...
Heat gun / Hair dryer will do. But it is a pain in the a$$, especially that it is cold outside right now. I did in November where it was like 50-60 degrees outside here in NYC. I removed the old and put in new woodtrim. Maybe you should wait for a nice warm day or inside someones heated garage overnight and then start doin it. You won't damage anything but the glue is bi!ch to take off.

Overall the entire process took about 4 hours time to get it all off. I broke it into 3 sessions.

I've wanted to do mine ever since I purchased the car. I had my radio replaced under warranty, so I have to do that portion. I will try it on a hot sunny day (every day is sunny here in Florida) and try it.

Thanks guys!
WOW, I'm glad I registered on this site! The info I read here about the wood trim is exactly what I was trying to find. Thank you! I need to do this to my Lexus, ALL the woodgrian peeled off, looks horrible. I'm not looking forward to doing it but it has to be done! So anybody here recommends where I should buy th wood grain kit? I found a site: CAR ID and they have the entire kit for 154.00- What did you guys pay?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
