Default Wheels 22's ?

Hey wassup guys,.... I jus got my new 2000 white gs400 about 2 weeks ago,... Im a simple kinda guy, so no intensive major mod's for me, but i do want som new shoes ( aka wheels ) and a Body Kit ,...
The shoes, I wanna go big as possible, is it possible for a smooth ride on 22's, and for the body, im interested in the " Vertex " kit, but ive done som research and the price is at least over $1,200.00 .... Any info where i get a better price?
If anyone has pics of a Gs on 22's or jus Sportin a Vertex Kit, please post som pics, Thanx

Welcome to the club...BUT, if you have a 2002, wouldn't that be a GS430? GS400's stopped at the end of MY 2000, and the GS430 began in 2001.

As is the norm around here, how about sending out a few pictures that we can all enjoy?

You should enjoy your car for many years to come!

if you plan on running 22's you will need several fender mods and to be honest with you it will look id stick with the 20's they will look more classy and flow better w/ any body kit and welcome to clublexus

22s on the gs? no way, kdding me. 20s are the max if you want the car to look nice. anything larger than 20s you are just making the car look stupid and out of ratio

and about the kits, if you can get the vertex new for 1200 that's a miracle price already. most of the time you will pay quite a bit more than that. so no need to think if you can get it cheaper

There was one 2GS on 22's and it was over the top but didnt look horrible due to it being slammed. The pic has been floating around. Its a black GS btw...

Stick with 20's and good luck with the Vertex kit. For $1200 it probably is the ebay knock off.

Congrats on the new car, and welcome aboard. You can do 22s but you only have 2 choices for tires and they will cost you 1500-2000 alone. So consider that when making your choice. Also the GS is a really short car (shorter than a 05 Honda Accord), so the wheels will be close together (look odd)

Good luck
