Program Master key for GS 400 (1998)
First I want to say thinks for helping me....
I got the Master Key to start my car, but was not able to lock or unlock doors or trunk
I have try these steps below, but was never able to go pass step 7. (got key from Ebay)
1. Start with key out of switch, drivers door open, all other doors and trunk closed, doors unlock and also try with doors lock.
2. Insert Master key (Ebay key) in ignition and pull out (not turn ON)
3. Using drivers side power doors lock button, lock and unlock doors 5 Time.
4. Close drivers door and open.
5. Using drivers side power doors lock button, lock and unlock doors 5 Time.
6. Insert Master key (Ebay key) into ignition and turn from "Lock" to "ON" back to "Lock" one time.
7. Door locks will cycle one time
*******I think I did see it cycle one time, when the doors went from unlock to lock.
*******But never did see it cycle the second time.
8.Press Lock button on transmitter for at least one second
9. Door Locks will cycle one time
10. Within 20 second, closed driver door and open it and press button on transmitter again for at least one second.
11. Door lock will cycle. Wait 20 seconds for registration to complete.
