Default Strange audio problem occured today

Got in my GS400 this morning to find that my iPod connected via cassette adapter would not work. I also have the iPod connected via an auto kit to provide power from the cigarette lighter. Anyway, I thought ...ok...I'll just listen to a CD til I figure out what is going on w/ the iPod.

I ejected the Cassette adapter and pressed the CD button on the stereo. Adapter ejected just fine, but nothing happened with the CD! I have NAV so I switched to the Audio Screen and it still displayed that a cassette was playing. All the touch buttons on the Audio screen (Dolby etc) worked, but there was no way to get out of Cassette mode. I tried ejecting the CD magazine from the glove box. Nothing! Basically, its stuck in Cassette mode and no way to switch to Radio or CD Modes.

I tried turning the car off and restarting, but did not work. I'm stumped. Anybody experience anythng like this? Appreciate any feedback you may have.

Try putting a real tape in and ejecting it. SOmething might be stuck inside or the system might think there is still something in there.
