My heated seats stoped working the light does not come on =(. I checked the fuse under the glove box on the passenger side and it seems ok. Anyone experience this problem or know if there is another fuse somewhere ?

Angry wierd

Very wierd one day I got in the car and it was of while the heated seats light was on. I checked all the fuses today and everything seems fine. Have you found a solution to your problem?

deniskags4...I have the same issue. No lights come on and no heated seats...fuses look OK...neither side works...have you or anyone else been able to figure out what is the typical cause here?

I know one side or the other is typical to fail with a busted fuse...but other than that I have no idea where to begin!

yeah, thought it would be easier to bump an existing thread instead of creating a brand new thread trying to rexplain the same problem...sorry for the confusion.

Where are these connectors and which center panel are you referring to? Do they burn out or go bad? I'm hoping it's a cheap and easy fix....

the center panel he's referring to is the one with the heated seat buttons on it.

ah...so I would have to remove the wood trim and all in order to see the wires under there? Or is there an easier way to take apart the center panel?

It comes out fairly easily. I think you just need to remove your shifter and then the bezel and the thing should pop out. Their is a thread detailing how to do it somewhere on here.

You da MAN NemeGuero!!!! Thanks so much!

So if I disconnect the positive end of the battery there's no chance in hell I could screw up the airbags, right? Any other things I should take note of while the battery is off?

I like disconnecting the negative terminal but I think either one will do the trick.
