I don't know if the rmm off the is will fit the gs but I will say this...DON''T WASTE YOUR MONEY
on the rmm. When I had my gs300, I had the rmm intake installed. What a mistake. The stock gs300 is slow off the line and with the rmm intake, it was even slower. Once the car got going (above 3000 rpm) it was alright but but not much different from stock.

Intakes usually provide increases in higher rpm range.....and usually lose hp and torque at low rpm range. I guess you found this out the hard way.

doesnt matter what the brand. SCC has done a few tests on different brands, and they all lose low range HP, while the higher RPMs do go up.

now as for the IS to GS Intake... its the same engine with the same configuration... I dont see why it shouldnt work.

You have a better chance if your car is a 01+. The way some of the tubing of intake are routed got changed slightly. The IS came out in 01 so the change was on both the IS and GS. I only know this because the PLP intake I have (which is FS BTW ) needed an extra hose and t-valve whereas it was bolt on for the 01+.

I have not seen the RMM intake so I cannot say for sure.

everything will bolt up.......... the only problem i ran into was that the car has an extra tube coming from the bottom of the frame.......... so the car requires three tubes while the intake only has two........ dont know what each tube does if it can be modified to work though

This is for the PLP intake but I think it is a similar issue. On an 01+, you do not have this extra hose:

This is what was done on my 98 to fit the PLP intake. Hopefully it helps you with your issue.

I would think so. Mike from PLP installed my intake since he wanted to test out what would be needed to install the intake on a pre 01 GS300.

Neo is right, the 2000+ GS (the one with the engine cover) has a slightly different stock intake.

If yours a 98, then the IS300 one will like not fit. Trust/Greddy has made one for the GS300 98 - 00. PM me for more details.
