Thumbs up

Awesome Jon, thanks for sharing.
I'm sure you tried different ways b4 finalizing the position of the led in that door lever.
How come you didn't choose to have the led shining downward like factory?
More lighting this way?

Well we tried that. But I didn't like how the light output is so "circular". When we tried it without shooting it through the acrylic, the light pattern was like a dot. It looks very ugly and ghetto. Then after the acrylic was in place, the whole piece lite up! It looks really cool. Can't wait to see it in white LED.

what kind are those ???

That's the optional chrome subwoofer cover for the Soundstream Tarantula subs that I got. It's not bolted down yet....I am still contemplating of leaving them there or taking them out....

it's looking good jon

but i don't know about those spider covers. for some reason, they just don't feel like they belong there. maybe you take the covers off and replace with plexiglass with Lexus Logo cutout

You continue to push the limits of the car.

Love the LEDs.

But I don't drive a Lexus, and I don't really like the Toyota logo either. Maybe I will leave them off and just put them on at car shows.....

Honestly, I dont think $$$ is the sole conduit to vehicles of this caliber. There is so much planning, contemplation, trial and error etc that makes it that much tougher.

Trust me, 26" wheels with gattling gun spinners aint cheap! LOL

Exactly, D. It really takes a lot more than just money to make a car "complete". Whether it's for show, go, daily driving or any purpose you want to achieve with your car, money is very important, but it really is secondary to deep, careful planning.

Everything that is on the car today, I've envisioned since the first day I brought the car home. Well, there were a couple of minor things that got changed along the way (like my old subs blowing up) and some new things that got conjured up (the benz wheels and the new black marble paint), but in all truthfulness, my objective on the car has never strayed too far from the original idea.
