Hey ya'll

i wanted to get a custom license plate for my silver gs from the DMV, i wanted some suggestions on what would be some good "Titles" for my car!

Btw:i live in CT and i am a woman just incase that helps any.....

P.s. approx. how much does the DMV charge to have that done, i know every state most likely varies but approx.

Price should be around $40 for a vanity plate, plus whatever they charge for 1 year 2 year or 4 year plates.

here in CA, if you get the personalize plate with the Environmental Plate design (original without any background) it will cost you $41 the first time and 25 renewal

I got this one for my wife: *LY GRL (* is the heart symbol)

I got one coming for our van: "VIP xxxx" heehee stay tune

in NY, my NT2SHBBY plates cost me a mint, but worth it IMO


I paid a one time fee of $50 or $75 and then I pay $50 a year to renew them, as opposed to the $25 or $30 they normally charge

Alexus, the CT-DMV fee for a vanity plate with the standard background is $90. If you want one with a special plate background (e.g. Long Island Sound, Keep Kids Safe, Caring For Pets, Greenways, United We Stand), the fee is $135.

DMV here in Cali has a website where you can try out your personalized plate to find out if its already taken or not. Though it doesn't have a great deal of flair I decided on:

Had lots of fun playing with 7 letter/number combinations
