rocking new 2-tone paint job!
I honestly do not know why do they put so much salt on the bloody road, its not like we get enought snow/ice to put 1kg salt per km. My family used to live in Montreal and even there they don't use this much salt, they use sand. Which unlike salt, it does not ruin good leather shoes and cars.

Makes me glad my GS came from New York!! This is it's first winter in Minnesota and I don't think it's happy, but it's my daily driver so it's gonna hafta get used to it. Besides I've heard about what salt water air does to east coast cars..... We use a lot of salt and sand here (can you say rock chips? bastards....). I know in Iowa they use volcanic ash in the roads to help out on this. The roads are reddish, kinda neat.
After snow storms you will see cars like that for weeks, but if you can believe this, there are actually people who never wash their cars. I've seen people in MAY with this crap on there vehicles. Someone usually writes "wash me" on the back, but they must not notice....
