Illuminated Sill Plates for GS = WOW !

How many of you GS owners would like these in your car:

Illuminated Door Sill Plates
These illuminated door sill strips are a unique way to personalize your automobile. The logo of your car will light up in the stainless steel door sill in blue each time you open the door. The set consists of 4 sill plates and 4 lights.
All necessary wiring is included. Installation is easy! Simply snap the new sill plates in where you old ones were. The lights get wired to the door switches for power.

These door sill plates haven't been made yet for the GS. The manufacturer told me that he would need demand in the number of hundreds for him to manufacture these for the GS.
Do you think we have enough GS owners in and around ClubLexus (and your friends&relatives) that are interested in purchasing these illuminated door sill plates for the GS?
We need atleast 250 of you. Maybe someone can buy a bunch for ClubLexus and sell them later to whoever wants a set? Or maybe some company, Steve or Mo, can buy a large quantity and resell them to individuals?
They would fit all GS300s and GS400s from 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001 ! (maybe even the 1st gen GS, but I would have to ask about that first)

That's cool... How about asking them about ALL Lexus....
Since the sills shown, just have the company's name not the type of car..... How much are they charging for the MB, BMW sills???

I don't know about the price yet, but I will know pretty soon.
I got the idea from a Mercedes actually, I didn't know the SC430 had them, I thought we were going to be the first Lexus owners with them, oh well !
I am sure they will look awesome and I am trying my best to get him to make them, but like I said, we need demand in the hundreds, so far we are only about 4 !
Steve at Carson or any other dealer wanna help us out?
I talked to my dad about this and he said that he might just get the hundreds himself and let me resell them to you guys, but I am not sure yet, because for 250 I am sure the total will be a lot !
Maybe more than one dealer can help out?
I am going to ask those if he can make some that will fit other lexus cars too that way we will get more demand easily. I am sure a lot of LS430 and LX470 owners would love to have those in their cars. Afterall, I think these sills are quite a luxury.

They look pretty nice, but how about the lighting matching the instrument lighting instead of being blue?
Also, 1SICKLEX, it think that the phrase is "in like Flint", just like the movie (starring James Coburn - sp? - as a James Bond sort of guy). No flame intended, just thought you'd like to know.

Hmmm. Perhaps Spiderman isn't old enough (unfortunately, I am) to remember the movie. His mom or dad probably do, however. Or that "In like Flint" was a very common slang phrase to describe someone who was doing well or about to succeed. Don't recall whether it was before or after such icons as "far out, man!" or "groovy!", but that is about the time we are dealing with. *sigh*
