Get the driver leather seat repaired !!
Anyone has a good sugestion ?
Factory warranty covverage:
1. Does Lexus cover the leather crack on driver seat toward the door edge ?
2. Sould I just drive in to Lexus delaership and ask for warranty repair ?
What about extended warranty !
3. If I purchase the extended warranty from the dealer, will it make a difference ?

Yes. I had my driver side leather replace under warranty a few months ago. My problem is with the small rounded vinyl trim at the seam cracking in two places.

Yes. it matched but you can tell it is new leather. The new leather has a bit more satin feel and look. The car was a little over 3 years when then replaced the leather. They also replaced my rear seating leather when the car was 0.5 years as there was a imperfection at the center seating area. The problem was a rough spot (like it as patched) at the center that was about 2" in diameter.

wow, they will really warrenty the car for cracked leather. my warrenty is coming up too, is it worth it for the extended warrenty? and how much am I looking to spend for it?

i think chuh made a thread way back about his fix on the vinyl strip on his car, so i went in and got mine fixed but they didnt fix any of my cracked leather. BUT i realized if i clean my leather really good and condition it you'll only see "wrinkles" from normal wear and tear.
