Talking Best Way/Company to ship my GS?

Hey everyone, after over a month and a half of searching I think I found the GS that I want to buy. I live in Washington State, but prices here for GS' are really high, so ive been looking for deals throughout the country. I finally found one in Cleveland, Ohio at a good deal and looks really clean. Its in the processes of going through a Lexus inspection, and if everything is good ill get it.

Anyways, I need to find a good shipper to bring my car to the west coast. Do you guys have any experience with this? I really want to keep my GS looking good, and need some feedback.

Thanks!

I have a company that shipped a BMW from CT to CA last year (bought the in-laws rag top). Good service and competitive rate. Pm me for details-

Where are you at in Washington? I'm down in Tri-Cities. There is a used car place down here (Archibald's) that specializes in late-model luxury cars (Lexus, BMW, Porsche, etc). After seeing my '98 GS400, my girlfriend's mom wanted one (she was driving an ES). She ended getting a real good deal on a used GS300. I'm just curious if you couldn't get a better deal around here after factoring how much more you'd have to pay to have one shipped across the country, not to mention the fact that you probably won't get to see or drive the car until it gets here. Either way, I hope you get the car you want. We need more Washington owners around here!!!

The only GS4's in Seattle with around 50-55K miles are like $24K, Ive found that I can get one from Ohio for like around $20K Shipped, and its well loaded, Id rather buy from Seattle, but the prices are way too expensive.

From personal experience, i would NOT use AAAdvantage Auto Transport. They were absolutely horrible.

Whatever u do, DO NOT go with Aries Auto Transport. They took my 500 deposit and never shipped my car. When i asked for my deposit back, they kept putting it off and finally i had to go through my credit card company to get it back. I would recommend National Auto Transport. They shipped my car from Boston to Vegas in 2 weeks.

Hi, I live near Lynnwood in Washington and I had my 01' GS300 shipped from New York using Dependable Auto Shippers. I didn't have any problems it was a smooth transaction. It was picked up from the dealer and dropped off at my house for about $1k . Hope this helps.

There's a very good shipping writeup on another car forum I frequent (NSXPrime) that you might find useful

I run a classic car consignment business out of Kansas City and ship about 4-5 cars a month all over the country. I've had great luck with AutoGo in Colorado. They are a broker but are very selective about who they use to transport cars. Price wise they are very competitive and they offer both covered and open trucks.

Call 877-668-3735 and speak to Tom or Peggy.

Shameless plug for my business----anyone looking for a classic car let me know!

they charged me $1100 to my door. Aries auto, the company i DO NOT recommend, was charging me $925 but you get what you pay for. MORE MONEY = FASTER SHIPMENT
