Good job, definately different. I had thoughts of doing this as well but kinda put it on the back burner. IMO, I would do suicide doors for the rears to complete the look. What kit did u use for the lambo doors? Is it hydralics or just regular hinges?

I bought the Decah kit because the guys that I had install it (Creative Customs Inc. Fredericksburg, VA) said it was the best kit. It has a very impressive shock lift on the hinges. I had to buy a blank kit which Creative modified for my car.

Thanks for the info, now how does it feel to lift the doors up? Does it feel heavy or does the lift make it light and easy to lift up? One thing I am worried about is the structural integrity of opening and closing the doors on a daily basis.

I hope u can take more pics of the doors at different angles, like hinges, inside shot etc...

Its beautifully designed and fitted. I don't know if its the design of the kit or the work the guys at creative did. It lifts easy as a matter of fact you have to be careful not to let it fly up because the shock is strong and will push it up quickly. Coming down actually requires a little strength once again the shock is strong and it will make you work. Soon I will have triceps like Terrell Owens on my left arm from pulling that thing down.

I have been assured that it is built to last. Maybe some minor adjustments as the years go by but thats it as long as I take care of it and don't abuse the hinge.

the doors look great, and it is definitely a very unique mod on a GS. My question is how hard is entry to the vehicle now? Based on your photo, there does not appear to be much room to get into the front seats.

Congrats, and please post more pics

That's unique! I bet everybody stares at you you when you open your doors. If every car on the road had them we don't have to worry about door dings.

Wow, someone took the plunge and actually did it. It actually looks decent. You should seal the rear doors shut and turn it into a 2-door GS! Might as well go all the way hehehe...

Props to you for doing what you like. It looks weird to me on a 4-door car, but hey, it's not my car so ...

I'm sure we (including me) will one day do something to our cars that won't meet everyone's approval. No big. Congrats.
