Default Walnut and leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift **** for the GS300?

Hi guys

I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend.

Anyway, is it possible to install the Walnut and leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift **** into the GS300? I understand that this is an option for the GS430.

I am thinking of ordering them from the dealership and having it installed. I need more wood in my GS.

Thank you and have a good day!

-Donald

P.S. Red Sox lost.

I had it done on my car but if you are thinking about getting them from the dealership as the OEM parts -- prepares to spend a fortune. There is a member selling wood shifter for cheap and check sponsored vendors' site for aftermarket wood steering wheel -- thanks to the lord of Manaray....

Lexus dealerships want an arm and a leg for those parts. I would seek other options on where to get 'em.

nop you can swap it, coz' the gs430 doesn't have eshift but you do. unless you want to take away your eshift once and for all.

even if so, it's going to be very very expensive from lexus

probably best to just go to american stitches

Thank you for your message.

I did check on the American Stiches (spelling?) website. They seem to do a very fine job.

-Donald

P.S. Did you do yours through an aftermarket or through the Lexus dealership?

Thanks for your message.

I guess the labor fee will be a lot if done at a dealership.

Or maybe I will not do it at all. We'll see.

Take care.

Thank you for your message.

Whoa, so if I do replace it, I will not have the E-Shift? I didn't know that. In that case,............

Take care.

yeah donald, it' not about the labor cost anymore, it's about whether you can do it or not, and you cant'

unless you go and try to find a 01+ gs300 steering wheel with the wood option already, that would work

Thanks again for your help.
I greatly appreciate it!

You know so much about Lexus cars. Lexus should hire you as a General Manager. Why not apply for a General Manager position?

Good night.
