Default Quicky: Size of the Lsportline exhaust cut-outs

Quick Question: How large are the openings for the dual exhaust on the Lsportline rear bumper?

A quick measure of mine says about six and 1/4 inch wide at the bottom of mine and a little over four inches tall. Couldn't get too exact because the car is close to the garage door which I can't (won't) open due to a massive thunderstorm outside.

Man, those are massive slots.... Cant find the right tip for the cutouts, I like the ovaly design of the new tips you put on, but they are too short horizontally IMO.

Dave- in a thread a while back you posted a link to a site with a gigantinc selection of exhaust tips, you wouldnt have that saved anywhere?

-Thanks

No but just search for 'exhaust tip' with davegs4 as poster in advanced search and you should find it pretty easily.

Dave, I could not find it. Could you do a quick search, if you can't find it, I'll just google it.

Anyone ever tried quad exhaust on the lsport bumper? I think the tips of the quad exhaust being smaller would make it look silly...

if you do quad tips, each tip i'd say at least 3 inches? that's 6 inches if you put them very close to each other. imho that's way too close to the opening. when you drive, floor, or turn the exhaust will vibrate and shake and it will hit bad. my apexi tips are 4 inches, yes there are gap on both side of the tips (about 1" on each side) but that's NORMAL. you need that kind of clearance for the exhaust to "move" around if you know what i am talking about.

Yeah, Lex, seen your car, just dont like the thin walled tips of the hks exhaust. I like the large rolled chrome tip....

damn, I'm in the market for different tips too! I'd love to see that link of Dave's.

I might as well do a search for it as well, and if I find it I can post it here. If anyone else has it handy, you'd be helping out a couple of Lexus brothers!

Was this it?

This place seemed to have a LOT of nice tips

http://www.abtivan.com/obx/obx_mufflers_weldontips.htm

This one had a couple (no, not the ones with the light built in)
