Idle issue
I have a 2000 gs300 and it doesn’t like to idle. It idles are about 500rpm and it’ll drop, go up to 1000rpm, then back to 500. Anybody know what might cause this?

I have this happen on many Toyota's when the battery either dies, or is disconnected and the learned memory in the computer gets cleared. A dirty throttle will stop enough air coming in and idle too low. Try cleaning your throttle. Idle will probably pick back up if the computer was rest to factory specs.
