Newbie to this thread. Just bought a 2013 GS and noticed it does not have the illuminated front door sills. The 06 IS350 I traded in did and now I'm spoiled and would like it. Do the door sills come pre-wired or not for this option? If it does I will do the install myself.

Unfortunately the '13 GS are not pre-wired/plug-n-play. It requires you to tap the footwell lights but its not a difficult job. This thread will help you: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...on-fsport.html

I will try my Sewell dealership in Dallas where I bought it and see if they give me a break since I just bought it there. Wish I noticed this the day I bought.

Congrats on the purchase (I just bought a certified '13 GS350 myself). I had an '11 IS350 that I traded in that had the illuminated sills. Was in the same boat as you wanting the illuminated sills on my GS.

Dealer quoted me $145/hr of labor to do the job even though I just got the car 2 weeks ago. They thought it was about 2.5 hrs of work so i decided to do it myself and save some $$$. Hopefully your dealer is more willing to work with you on it!
