Default Removing trim above glove box

Anyone know how to remove the aluminum trim above the glove box? I have a hellacious rattle coming from there, and my cat-back accentuates it a lot.

Why not take it to your dealer before you tear it up?

Over the warranty period. Just wanted to see how involved it would be to take it apart before I have the dealership steal from me.

First you need to remove glove box compartment, be careful disconnecting airbag wire... then remove 3 or 4 screws back side of trim, last step is just pop it out. Pardon for my english

Thanks! Seeing that the airbag has to be removed, it's more than I want to take on. Guess I'll be paying up at my next service appointment.

Airbag built into glove box, when you unscrew glove box from dashboard, just disconnect airbag wire (yellow connector), nothing complicated

One important step ==> please disconnect main battery before you do anything (required when working with airbags system)
