both seems like very good deals already. Generally speaking non f-sports seem to be in the 32-33K range now. F-sports seem to go for about $2K more.
I bought a 2013 CPO about 6 months ago for around $38K. But it was the only one in a 300 mile radius that was the color combo I wanted and had the options I wanted ( F-sport, HUD, ML, DRS, etc )

I just purchased a CPO 2013 AWD Premium in Pittsburgh with 50k miles for $31,366 two days ago. However, the car has a few scratches on it, but I'm OK with that as it will be a daily driver and is not garaged. Otherwise, it is in great shape and the service history was very good. It has Park Assist, Cold Weather Package, and Blind Spot Monitor.
They gave me $2k for my 99 GS400 with 184k miles that had failing air conditioning and a few other problems.
The dealer had been trying to sell it since July of last year and they wanted to dump it.
Most other dealers that I tried to work with would not really deal on a CPO GS and I would have been lucky to get $1k to $2k off the asking price. It truly amazes me how many Lexus dealers have a "take it or leave it" attitude as a car continues to sit on their lot depreciating at a fairly fast rate. So it seems very hit or miss when trying to get a good deal on a CPO car.
One thing that you might want to keep in mind is the 2013 GS had a crazy long model year (like 19 months or something). The car I bought was around 1 year newer (late 2012 build) than some other 2013 GS models I was looking at.
Not too sure about the non CPO market though.... so this may or may not be helpful.

I bought my 13 fsport, fully loaded excluding ML, HuD, and rear controls w/27k CPO for 42k last October. They advertised 47k on the Internet.
Got it from bredeman lexus, in glenview fwiw

check out the AutoBarn in Evanston. Looks like they have 2-3 13 GS. Review of the Carfax
should give you some idea how long a GS has been in the dealer inventory and can assist
with negotiations. I had a 08 GS that I enjoyed but got the jones for a new GS. Doing the math
decided to buy used rather than take the big depreciation hit. I found my 13 GS last November at McGrath Lex in Westmont with 10K on the odo. It was a nice buying experience at Mcgrath. The
used 2013 GS's appear to have had a nice drop in price since last fall/winter.

I am a bit on the fence on a used gs350
seems like a CPO with 20k miles is about 36k plus fees, same 53k vehicle brand new is 47 going through fleet at longo lexus.....so pay 40k OTD 3 year old car or a brand new one for 51k OTD......heck I would wait 3 months for the 16 at this point - they will be similarly discounted a month after they hit the dealerships
