2013-14 GS350 or 2014 ACURA RLX?
hello cl
Im currently driving a 2011 GS350 AWD and thinking abou the 4th gen gs350 or the acura rlx
I test drove the 2014 acura rlx, the car is big but good has good mpg, the interior is really nice but 1 thing really bugging me is the suspension makes clunking noise on bumpy road and ACURA doesnt have a fix for that right now according to the Acurazine forum.
I havent test drive the 4 gen gs350 yet, 1 thing i like about the Acura rlx is the ground clearance, it sits more than an inch lower than the gs350, really nice factory stance compareS to our GS350.
Any members driving the 4th gen GS350 please chime in
Ur thought is greatly appreciated

I would pick the 4GS over any Acuras any day. I don't think they're even in the same level as Lexus.
Plus I don't trust Honda anymore after my new 2014 Accord gave me Xmas lights on the dash after just 1 year, endless TPMS lights that come and go daily and cylinder misfiring. I checked online and there are many with the same problem. The build quality is nowhere near a Lexus. Don't know about Acuras build but the styling was never appealing to me.

My boss has an RLX that I have ridden in many times. It has a beautiful interior and is a nice car. I was surprised that it rode a little stiffer than I expected. It's not billed as a sports sedan so I really didn't get that. I have owned four Acuras so in general I like them. But the RLX makes no sense to me. For the same money you can get the GS. I prefer RWD cars so the GS makes it an easy choice. Also, I will not get a car without ventilated seats and the RLX only gets them with the top of the line package which lists for........wait for it......$61,000.
Acura builds fine cars and I don't think you can go wrong if you like it. Someone mentioned resale value being a problem. I have not checked it, but I'm not sure if I believe that. Used car buyers like Acuras because of Honda/Acuras quality reputation. I had a 2012 loaded TL (SH-AWD). Despite the number of people who hated the styling of that generation, mine had exceptionally good resale value. I paid $42,000 for it and three years later got $31,000 on a trade for my GS (that we got a $5,000 discount on).

Im driving a 2011 GS350 AWD now and this is my second GS's and I do like it a lot, the 4th GS should drive better if anything..
According to Edmunds the Acura RLX is only 3.8 inches ground clearance vs our GS is more than 5 inches.
I will def test drive the 4th GS before even consider anything else. I like the quality and the smoothness of the Lexus.

Yes, I test drove the RLX and it rode really nice, I really like the interior of the RLX and in most Acura in general. I had a 2009 TL FWD for 2 years and I also really that car as well. ppl keep bashing about the front grill and the styling of the 4th gen TL but to me, the styling of the TL is very appealing and sophisticated and I do like the front grill especially from 2012 and up.
I havent drive the SH-AWD yet but i can imagine it should be a marvel.
Heck i even considering the TL or TLX SH-AWD again.
