So got the door sill plates installed on Friday. They look good, I tried to have the service guy snap a pic of the install but they were really busy that day. the sills cost me $200 and the install was $80 so all together paid $280. I will try to take a pic of the door sill in better night shots.

Still cant believe a dealer would charge under $100 for anything lol. Anytime you walk into a service center youre expecting to dish out at least $500...

No, it comes in the accessory package that also brings in rear bumper appliqué, cargo net, trunk mat, and wheel locks. Many dealers in SOCAL order it, so it seems standard.

Hmmm thats funny, got all of that but not lighted sills.
I bought mine from the classifieds here. Was a $400 option to which i just snickered at like a child, already knowing that I had someone on here selling them for about $100

Yea all the FSport I've seen here has it and also the rear (not lit). Same thing with the ML, they must've ordered all FSport with it.
Yep, i actually just noticed that last night. I was kinda bummed that the rear sill isnt illuminated on my F-sport. I might have to make that my first mod.

Yea they are really good and I usually spend a lot of money in parts including stuff they sometimes want to get rid of that actually works for me.

You can simply upgrade your door bottom puddle lights for $20 plug n play that will cast a very nice crisp Lexus L logo on the ground. No need to pay $280,$400 or more for some premium mods. In Canada the F Sport comes fully loaded with mats etcetera but not the lighted door sills. Weird huh?

sadly this $20 mod looks just that, a cheap mod that takes away from the overall look of the car
