Yours was a 2014 though, and a different market. I got quotes on it from multiple places and that was KBB good also. The luxury package doesn't get much in residual.
You were buying used too, more profit in a used car gives them more room on the trade.

I think 33,500 is a fair trade for your vehicle but as you said definitely the L.A. market has its impact when compared to the east coast.
2013 GS 350 are going for 35-37K here in L.A. I would imagine they would sell for a bit more in Maryland ? No ?

I don't think they would have given you 38 if you didn't buy their ES. Money has to come from somewhere. They prob can't even turn around and sell it to make money. 31-32 is about right for a 13 Luxury/F Sport this time IMO.

I got $32k and I'm happy with that. They have it listed certified for $35,900.
Bear in mind too that I basically got almost $11k off the LS.

[quote-bclexus]Steve - when are you going to request that your User Name be changed to SW15LS?[/quote]
Already requested Dave goes on and does everybody's name change requests like once a month.

Awesome ride man. Congrats.
Coming from the GS do the materials feel different? More premium maybe? The interior looks remarkably similar to the GS apart from the obvious size.

The interesting difference is the leather. My GS was a luxury with the semi-aniline leather, that leather is actually a step above the base leather in my LS. IMHO the LS should have that leather standard, and an even better leather optional. But, its still very nice.
Just got home from running around all day and washed it (its a BIG car to wash...sheesh), very happy
Having a full hood/fenders clear bra done friday and the windows tinted. Went back and forth on the cost of that ($1700) but I would kick myself down the line if I didn't do it.

Passenger space is MUCH better in the LS. I thought up front in the GS was great, but in the back I found it very tight.
