We don't know how many potholes have been hit over time...

don't know about your city, but the City of Angels has/had some sort of reimbursement program for damaged tires/rims/suspensions due to potholes during rainy seasons.

It's a long shot, but I'll check with the city as well.

Good luck

That is what the tire and rim protection plan is for. I damaged one rim from a pothole and the Lexus dealership repaired it perfectly. 4 rims? Sounds like you were in an earthquake.

Thanks for all the responses. It was a pot hole on I-65 south of Nashville at least 1 1/2 lanes wide and several inches deep. I thought the wheels were going to fall off when I hit it.

I'm going to try and file a claim and see what happens. I believe they were negligent for not closing the lanes.

There were a few places on the 15 from LA to Vegas a few years ago that had pretty bad transitions from first layer new pavement to concrete washout/bridge. I'm pretty sure these transitions probably bent a few full sets of wheels. They felt like quarter height curbs. Meanwhile everyone is nailing them at about 90mph.

It seems like the speed limit here is 90 now. Going 70 feels like ur standing still, everyone is passing u like nothing.

That is hardly a pot hole. That is a crater or a sink hole! Glad you were able to keep control of the vehicle.

Default AWRS Wheel Repair

These people say they can fix bent rims for $100 each. Has $30k worth of equipment and has been at many dealerships all winter fixing due to pothole damage. If it can't be fixed he won't charge.

Has anyone had any experience with http://www.awrswheelrepair.com/straightening.html ?
