All we can do is give props to Lexus for trying, albeit possibly too hard. I haven't seen many RC's in person, never seen an RC F in person but looking at those pics the RC F front is awesome!! Really really liking it more than the regular RC.

I got the same call. They are rolling a ton of negative equity into the new car...in my case...$8k!
I'd wait.
I love the RC too, but it is a step down from the GS in many ways.

In terms of changes expected for the 2016 GS F-sport, I've read some rumors on this forum about a possible turbo engine? I guess that would be kept a tight secret if true. Anyway, I'm not sure that would really be an improvement -- could introduce kinks that take a few years to work out.

2016 GS will have:
1. New front clip with full spindle grill, new headlights (LED), and likely separated DRLs (although not necessarily, the new RX has an integrated headlight).
2. New wheels
3. New taillamps
4. Next generation navigation (as seen in the 4RX)
5. Updated trim inside (you can see some of this in the GS-F, new HVAC vents, etc)
My guess is no new power.

I hope they don't kill it with the massive spindle grille. I might have to consider financing mine if the new one looks so ugly.

So in the spirit of my original post, out of curiosity I went and test drove the RC350 F Sport today. In terms of the drive, in many ways it felt very similar to my GS. The ride was very similar as well. Surprisingly, the interior felt nice and roomy (up front) and of course the back seat was a mute point. The trunk seemed decent for the build of the car.
Overall, it was a fun car to drive, but my one major disappointment was the size of the nav screen. The placement was such that at certain times I couldn't even see the bottom of the screen. Honestly it felt like an after-thought...like it was just added in with black plastic spacers around it. We've really been spoiled with the size of the screens in the GS.
I'm not knocking the RC at all, it fits a certain category of style and it's a great looking car, but when I got back in my GS, my decision was made.

I sat in an RC350 F Sport when I owned my GS F Sport and felt like the interior was a huge step down. Also, I understand the RC isn't selling as briskly as they expected so I can see why they are willing to give you a good deal. In the end, it all comes down to whether it is right for you. I went from a GS to a coupe (just not the RC). I miss the space but like the extra room in the garage and when parking. The RC is also a nice looking car exterior-wise, even with the spindle grille.

The RC isn't selling well cause they're treating that car like an LFA, huge mark ups and no incentives. Give it some incentives and it'll sell like hotcakes. I got $1500 incentive for my CT and I believe the GS has tons of incentives too.

It was marked up $3K a few months ago but now it's getting a little better but still no incentives. Even my sales guy told me to stay away from it for now.

now if they tint the windows and say it's worth 1000 bucks, clear bra up front for another 3000, then it's "fair game"
