Talking From Fugly to Sexy!

Finally got my brake calipers all done and damn this thing is so sexy!

Never ever use wheel cleaner to clean ur wheels, my calipers got sprayed and started fading and it looked so bad that I almost traded in the GS again!

And of course I managed to nick it when putting my wheel back on...

Yes Sick21 I'm calling u out again!!! U got work to do!

I use this:

I got it from Pepboys and they had a 30% sale so it was like $5 and good for all 4 calipers (multiple coats) and still had some leftovers.

Look Great!...

Do you have the rear pics?

Where did you get the F Sport decal and hows much?

Do you have step by steps for this mod?

Thanks

Now you've done it! You've brought attention to your calipers and you'll be trying to keep them clean all the time.

Nice job - they look good!

Somebody posted the link for the stickers and now I can't find it. But it was $12 for a pair.

I just paint the rears red and didn't put any stickers.

This process took me all day to do and I was rushing, so I'd say give urself 2 days especially if ur new to this. Just clean ur calipers with brake cleaner and some light sanding and start spraying light coats of paint. Ur suppose to wait 10-15 mins after coat but I only waited 1-2 mins. Like I said, I was rushing cause I had to borrow someone else's garage.

I think thinner spoke wheels will make it stand out more.

Did you remove the calipers or do the plastic bag around the rotor?
