One thing I forgot to do is look up TSBs. I haven't noticed any snaps or pops but I'll definitely pay attention to that next time I go up a incline.

My car had this exact same problem. They ordered a new seal for it and tightened it. Only issue I had after that was my sunroof creaked when accelerating from a stop. They got that fixed now for the most part...

Are the snaps or pops issue related to the water leaks in any way?

I didn't have any popping/creaking sounds until they tightened it because it was leaking.

Dealer told me the same thing yesterday - the leaking is normal, unless it comes into the vehicle. They said there are drain gutters built into the roof for the water to exit the vehicle.

They're normally very good at fixing even the smallest things under warranty for me so all I can do now is take their word for it.

Yes, my dealer is the same way with making things right. Heck, they gave me a whole new glove box after I picked up the car and saw some deep scratches in it. They even replaced both of my rear tires free of charge when they spotted a bubble in the side wall. I bought the tires from them of course. But they told me the same thing about the leaking. It was normal and it will hit the drain gutters to exit the vehicle. Just makes me nervous seeing water leaking into the cabin like that.

I can tell you for certain mine does not leak like this. I have been watching it the last few days in the rain and the car wash. This means it is not normal. It is most definitely not acceptable. You need to nicely tell your dealer thank you for his opinion but it is not acceptable to you as a Lexus customer. Ask to escalate it to the next level.

OP, Have you taken yours to the dealership yet? If so, any type of resolution?

GS is at the dealer now. Late this evening I got a text from the advisor saying they need more time and they'll get back to me on Monday. I'm assuming they found something.

I have the car back now and they said they found a slight blockage in the drain system and they adjusted the sunroof. They washed the car so Im waiting for it to get dirty so I can go through the car wash where it leaked.

I have to say I was going back and forth with my service writer for about 15 minutes explaining to him that it wasnt normal

I have a buddy that is a tech for Lexus and he will be adjusting the sunroof for me as well.
