Default Is Your GS your DD?

Do you rack the miles up on your GS? Or only bring it out for special occasions?

As you all know, I abuse my GS. It lived down a dirt road and it parked outside! "Can you believe the nerve of this guy?!"

Well that's no longer the case. Bought a new house, in the back of a golf course. I have 3 stalls. My wife's suv, the GS and one open space.

My third space is a one car door, I have noticed most neighbors have golf carts in there. Boring. I want to put a MINI in there!!

Thinking about a low mileage short term lease MINI Cooper S Hardtop 4 Door.

What do you think??

Drive the hell out of it. No need for a third car. It will end up costing you more in insurance and maintenance then just driving the GS to the ground and then getting a new one in a few years.

My work commute is only 10 mins. No freeway driving.

The third car garage is used for gym, man cave.

Being a Lexus owner allows me to do this or I'd be like my neighbors who drive European, they have a courtesy car on their driveways every other month.

Lexus are made to last forever, i don't plan on getting rid of mine anytime soon. Hell, Toyota's don't break in until 200k anyways

I should add that my GS is a lease. I just want to buy a 'toy'. For a while I was set on getting a new raptor truck when they come out, to tow our RZR4 and our boat. But that'd be pretty pricey. I thought just leasing a MINI would be far cheaper and keep using one of my work trucks to pull the toys.

I'm not worried about wearing my car out, I won't ever own it anyways...

Or I could save the money and put it towards the renovation of our new house. It's pretty old and dated lol

daily driver. The only thing I don't do anymore is leave my car in airport lots when I travel for work.

My GS is a daily driver - my toy is a 2004 Honda S2000 ... I generally only drive it when the weather is nice enough to put the top down, lots of fun.

All of my cars are project cars, weekend cars, and daily drivers. But I can only have 1 car at a time so the GS is it for now. But I'm liking the RCF too now and that will be my all-of-the-above car too.

The CT is my dad's actually. But we work in the same area so we only use one car at a time, so we daily the CT one week and the GS the following week.

I have a driver that picks me up and drops me off right in front of my condo. Some may call it the bus but I call it a limo. LOL I drive my car every other day and weekends at most.
