Default My GS350 F-sport after accident

Hey, new member here... I've had my 2013 AWD F-Sport since Sept. 2013...
Awesome car, 45K miles...
I had a minor frontal accident (no airbags) with some broken sensors, etc., so before I got my car back, they updated and re-programmed the electronics...
Interestingly, my car is even BETTER now... there is NO question that they've been tweeking and improved everything electronic:

--my steering is tighter at low speeds, even in normal drive mode. Beforehand, the Electronic Steering Assist was very soft at low speeds, and tightened up at speed. NOW, it has tighter steering even at low speeds in all modes (and, of course, even improves more with Sport Plus mode). Much more sporty overall

--transmission is improved too....when in Sport/Sport + mode, downshifts occur at higher RPM's than before... Also, when I shift manually (lever or paddles), it's MUCH smoother between gears.... no jerking at all!

BOTTOM LINE: If you have an early 2013 model, make sure you have the updated electronic settings!!!

I'm guessing the transmission changes are due to the battery being disconnected. We had a dead battery a couple of months ago and after charging it I noticed a difference in the shifting. I guess it unlearned my wife's driving style.

My car always feels nicer when I haven't driven it for a few days. It's probably because my brain forgot how nice the GS is. It was especially nice after I drove a Fiat 500 for 10 days and came back to the GS.

I believe its this as well, usually after battery been unplugged for a while everything that was learned gets erased and started from scratch so its relearning again.

Maybe if I punch the dashboard, the car will drive better too?

The other thing to note is that if the suspension components are brand new, the spherical joints can also be breaking in again so you'll enjoy the tighter suspension for a while until its completely broken in.
