OP honestly, one of the best qualities in my opinion is the giant screen. lol i think you must be confused with lexus and toyota, sounds like you shouldve brought a base model Camry...
The giant screen... Omg. It won me over! I personally think the whole dash itself is kind of ugly and shaped too conservative. I prefer the IS dash layout and style.
But I don't find any of it too busy or distracting. I like the big screen
I've driven the car for 2.5 years and 37,000 miles, don't find the dashboard distracting at all.
What is it exactly that is going on? If you don't want the big screen on...turn it off.
+1. I drove my '13 GS for 3 years and 20k miles and never found the dash distracting. You set it for what you want to see and go from there. The guages were very clear and, along with HUD, told me what I needed to know. The nav screen was always set to show what song was playing and once I saw it I didn't need to look at it again.
Agreed on the Tesla "iPad" dash. That is the one thing that has kept me from seriously considering one.
me too...after owning highline European cars as a daily driver for the last 15 years, my pocketbook needed a break from their seemingly never ending expensive maintenance needs.
I wanted a trouble free car from a manufacturer with a quality service experience-the main reason I bought a Lexus.
Don't know if I will buy another Lexus, but right now I am happy with my choice.
Yup yup. Same decision process for me. E39 540i, lots of maintenance. The E39 still is more of a drivers car, makes you feel like everyone else is going in slow motion. However the Lexus is my preference for the reliability and everything else.
