And the Genesis?!

I'm surprised by the ES and GS hybrids ranking so high as separate models, even higher than equivalent BMW and MB models.

I'm not surprised by the rankings. Seems unbiased and probably takes into account many factors . What I am surprised about is the average price paid for a new GS,,,,, $50,000. Really? ???

As much as I like my ES, even I know the interior is far inferior to that of the GS. The fact that the ES's interior gets an 8.2 vs. the GS's 8.0 should say something about the validity of these rankings.

The CTS is the one car in this class I could see myself selling my GS for in the future. Great presence on the road.

+1

I noticed that too Mike. This ranking is just stupid. Whoever is doing these ratings doesn't even understand BASIC similarities and differences between various models.

For example, the 15' 4GS interior is almost exactly the same the 15' 4GS Hybrid interior. With the 2015 model, the bamboo trim & steering wheel isn't even available anymore like it was on the 2013-2014 that differentiated the interior a bit.

YET, they score the 4GS Interior an 8.0, while the 4GS Hybrid got a 7.7 (compared to the 15' ES that has a 8.2.. you would think the GS Hybrid was a big downgrade in interior materials, comfort, features, etc).

They did the exact same thing with the interior of the ES vs ES Hybrid - but the difference between those two was only 0.1.

I'll take my GS over any of those cars too.

Not a hater, just your opinion. People say the same about the spindle design on Lexus. They raised the price initially because the cars improved over the past generation by a lot but have since brought the price down a bit. Sales issues are due to brand perception. It's a great car. Our household has a GS and a CTS. I like parts from my car over the CTS but not everything Lexus does better.
