Got a text from a buddy saying the guys on Top Gear were talking trash about the 4GS. Anyone got a read out on this?

They were trashing how the exterior looked, basically saying there was no wow factor and that it did not look new. Also they were crapping on the exhaust note. However, they did rave about the luxury of the interior and the comfort of the ride on long trips. Them Brits on the show are tough on foreign cars.

I don't remember seeing anything about the GS, but last Sunday's episode was a brutal bashing on the RCF.

Yeah I just watched this week's episode and it covered the RC-F not the GS.

BTW, I've noticed a lot of people don't know the difference between the GS, ES, and IS. During a debate a few weeks ago I actually had to show my friends the Lexus website to prove the differences. And I don't even bother correcting people anymore after they compliment me on my new "IS". SMH

I had a guy who had just purchased a new IS250 F Sport tell me he passed on the GS and went with the IS because the GS looked too much like the new Camry.

I swear the rear of the new Camry looks exactly like the ES!!!! Maybe he was confused and that's what he was talking about? He probably didn't look twice at the GS cause of the price...

I personally love the GS compared to the competition. I haven't checked out the Merc but the bimmer has a terrible exhaust note unless it's the outrageously priced 550 and the rear of that car looks blah. The A6 is so blan its respectively handsome and the 3.0T is a dream but the interior is ugly as all hell. And the seats are crummy looking like the ones in my VW CC.

Him buying a 250 tells u a lot. He can't afford anything 350s, let alone a GS 350. That guy is trash.

There's this guy in a GTR in my morning commute route and he always stares at my car when he passed me by.
