You can get a 2014 for that price, i personally wouldnt pay more than $35,000 taxes included for a 2013

That is for AWD model....still ? I looked at cargurus and autotrader and they don't list anything around that price...

That is a pretty darn good deal, especially if it comes with CPO since you're buying it from a Lexus dealer. If it's not CPO, you might want to ask why it's not CPO. I don't know where anyone could get a 2014 with 10k miles and luxury package for $36.5k but it certainly won't be in the northeast, where the OP is from. If this were to be listed at a local dealer near me, it would be listed for $41-42k. As a matter of fact, there is one right now with 26k miles, CPO 2013 with luxury package listed for $41k.

I just want to add a bit more. There was a 2013 CPO with luxury package 15k miles that was listed for $38.8k and it was sold within a week of listing. And this dealer is known to list the true price so I doubt they would sell it any lower than their list price, especially only a week after they listed it.

It is a Luxury, top of the line GS. I think that's a good price if there is no damages.

Is it because it's still under the 4yrs/48K miles factory warranty, that's why it's not CPO?

No, not necessarily. If the car fails the CPO criteria/inspection, it won't be sold as a CPO.

Most of the 2013 ones I looked at were CPO even though the cars are still under the factory warranty for at least another year and 10-20k miles.

I would like to know where you got your facts from. I didn't see a single 2014 listed under $40k within 500 miles of me during my 2+ months of searching.

I agree I think that is the price they are selling at right now for 13 GS but a luxury model should be more so it is a pretty reasonable deal. It has 10K on it and it is a luxury model while used base models are selling for that. OP you can try to see if they will extend the CPO for you they go up to 5 years so you would have coverage after the warranty expires.

Yes, that is correct. A CPO and Factory Warranty can run concurrently.

If the car does not have a CPO added, with such low miles I would be skeptical, and if the dealer is saying it can't be added because it has a Factory Warranty, I would walk away.

I personally think it is a very good deal, especially if it is CPO.

Guys thank you so much....

Unfortunately, I called right before I headed to the dealership and asked them to pull out the carfax and that has an accident reported on it...
That makes me very hesitant to proceed with the purchase. I like the sales guy who is very nice and upfront but this is my first purchase and for this kind of money I want to get a clean title...

and that may be why the cost is so low.Too low for a Luxury at a Lexus dealer is Jersey.
Not many used Luxury pkg models around.
In checking 3 Lexus dealers in my area,I see only two and one with low miles.
Here's the one with 13K miles but $42500.

The reason why it isn't a CPO.
