Isn't a $100 WalMart battery even better at 700CCA 36/60 warranty?

Could be... The Panasonic battery seems to either be a very good and long-lasting battery, or a battery that is prone to drain down and be problematic.

That battery image you posted (see below) is an Interstate battery labeled for Lexus and Toyota, but not the Interstate Mega Tron Plus.

HERE is the battery you have in the image.

I thought someone posted they had this one in their '13.

2 1/4 years and no battery issue.
Plus my GS hit the dealer in August and I got it in mid Dec.So it sat.

That's the factory OEM.

This is the one that was replaced under warranty when the OEM failed the battery load test.

Seems like it's an inferior Interstate Battery

So it's not a Panasonic?
It does say on the label that the battery is distributed by a company in Hawaii.
I would think it's a Japanese Panasonic but maybe not.No big deal either way for me as I've never had a problem .

The replacement battery you received is not the same quality as the original battery. I would have thought the dealer would have replaced it with a Lexus labeled Interstate Mega Tron Plus MTP-24 battery...instead of the lesser quality battery that you received.

The replacement battery does not appear to be distributed out of Hawaii.

There is no mention of Panasonic on the replacement battery.

Agreed. It appears to be an inferior Interstate and inferior OEM, although it's what the parts manual states.

When this one dies, I'll just replace it with the WalMart one w/ 770CCA 36/60 warranty for $100!

Joeb427 - Things are kind of getting misunderstood with the various postings because it's hard to tell what comments are being directed toward what posts. Joeb427 - Your battery is a Panasonic OE battery.
