Anyone own GS350 FSPORT and Porsche (Carrera or Cayman?)
Could you tell me the difference in handling and other performance of the two?
And also the reliability such as what kind of problems you had with Lexus or Porsche?

Ive never owned a Porsche, but take my word for it ive driven A LOT of Porches. Every single Porsche being sold today is better handling than the GS F Sport, not even in the same ball park. Cayman or a Boxster is a good comparison but they still are on a whole nother level when it comes to handling and cornering. Dont even get me started on the Carrera. I dont think its a fair comparison with the GS F Sport. Carrera's hang and out run Lambos and Ferraris on a tracks. Thats a different beat. Plus, its like double the cost of the GS F.

I don't understand the comparison here. It's apples and oranges. These cars aren't even in the same category. The only Porsche I can think that you might want to try to compare with the GS is the Panamera.

Not even in the same league, but they are completely different cars.

Handling and fun-factor, the Lexus can't even come close to the Porsches, even with similar specs.

SlangBlade has it pretty well covered, the Porsche does three things better than almost any car on the road it corners, it accelerates, and has a very high top speed. 2013 911 Turbo

Just 5 years ago the Carerra 911 was under 100k even under 90k. But now the base is over 110k. They got ridiculously expensive. I would give my left pinky for a 2015 911 turbo S

• 2 door coupe, designed more for the track (suspension/chassis is mated for precision corning), not nearly as luxurious or comfortable, very sporty, reliable - but not as much as Lexus, not much room to haul stuff = Porsche

• 4 door sedan, designed for the everyday roads, more luxurious & comfortable, not as sporty, king of reliability, big enough to haul stuff = Lexus

It really is apples vs oranges as others have stated. It comes down to your own personals needs & wants out of a car (or if this will just be your 2nd car). G'luck with your decision.

The best option is buy both of them and you will have great daily luxury car and weekend sports car

I had both Porsches (997 and Cayman). The Cayman is by far the better handing Porsche but for a tall guy like me it feels claustrophobic. I have owned quite a few Porsches and daily driven then 25-30K yearly. They are just as reliable as anything else out there.

Traded my Cayman in for my GS F Sport. Every time I took my Cayman in for service I was given a loaner worth way more, every time I have taken the F Sport in for service and given a loaner, it has been either a; CT, RX, or IS, this makes me really miss my car, when I had a loaner from Porsche, I didn't want to give it back.

If youre asking about handling between the two, there is no comparison in the two car's maximum capability as others have stated...

However, if you need to ask, YOU probably wont notice the difference in daily usage!

Go drive them both and you tell us what YOU feel!! Then tell us if you think it's worth the difference in cash to you for the extreme level of handling you get for the dollar from the Porsche, or if the GS puts a big enough smile on your face for what you wish to use the car for.
