2016 GS facelift?

I wonder If the 2016 will have engine upgrades...the new 2016 RX will have an updated engine that will have an output of 300hp. I'm assuming the updated 2016 ES (debuting soon) will also get this engine, which puts it close to the GS. I know the ES is FWD and the GS is RWD, but Lexus needs to separate these models more if both have an output close to 300hp.

300 HP in the RX.. damn those soccer moms will be smoking ricers all day long. The ES will be one fast highway cruiser! Maybe for us in the GS will finally start seeing 330-350 HP in the updated engine. They were able to get 30 more HP from this 2GR engine so they shouldn't have a problem doing it again with the new one.

Since they are upgrading the RX (and probably the ES) so much, it makes me excited to see what Lexus has planned for the GS.

I think Lexus is finally upping their horsepower game! And the RX gets to use its full 12.3" screen for full maps. That would be nice if the GS can do that too. I want my movies to use all of this huge screen.

Here's the new front end and back end of the 2016 ES Refresh, with a widened spindle grill with chrome surround, and chrome horizontal bars, while the tail has L-inspired strips of LED.
Then the 2016 GS F with a widened version of the F Sport grill, and similar L-inspired tail lights.
So I guess we can sort of anticipate what the 2016 GS Refresh will look like?
1) Yes, the 2016 GS Refresh will sport a wide mouth with full chrome surrounds, and also chrome horizontal bars like the 2016 ES Refresh?
The all new 2016 RX also hints that the next 2016 GS Refresh may have an accentuated wide mouth with a full chrome surround, and horizontal bars?
2) Similarly, the 2016 GS Refresh will use similar L-inspired tail lights to the 2016 ES Refresh and the 2016 GS F???
IMO, I think the new 2016 ES Refresh front end with the full chrome surround, and the chrome horizontal bars is nice; ditto the 2016 GS F's F Sport zig zag grill.
However, I'm not too keen on either the 2016 ES Refresh's and the 2016 GS F's L-inspired tail lights?
It doesn't seem to fit the car somehow? Or does it fit???
I'm also not so sure about the 2016 GS F's RC-inspired steering wheel? I bet this steering wheel lands into the 2016 GS Refresh too?
While the 2016 GS F seems to soldier on with the joystick sat nav, rather than use the 2015 RC coupe's and 2015 NX's track pad control.
I bet the 2016 GS F's interior is a good indication of what the 2016 GS Refresh's interior will also look like.
It is unlikely that the 2016 GS F and the 2016 GS Refresh would use very different interiors.
However, the new 2016 RX's bonnet flows onto its spindle grill so well, that the new RX front end is actually more attractive than the forthcoming 2016 GS F; the latter whose bonnet bulge doesn't seem to flow onto its spindle grill as well?

2016 Lexus GS350 Photoshop
Sup fellas,
Saw some photoshopped photos of what the 2016 Lexus GS350 front and rear will most likely look like:
Not to come off as a hater (hate it when someone bashes a newer version of the same car because they dont have it) but I think I prefer my 2015 than this design.
What do you guys think?
2015 GS350> 2016 GS350 or nah?

This was posted and discussed in the 2016 GS Facelift thread here:

I quite like it, and will likely make the switch from IS to GS if it ends up looking anything like this.

I think the current taillight design better emphasizes the horizontal lines which helps make the rear look wider. I'll take the current lights.*
* With red tints to cover up the lame orange blinkers.

I fell in love with the 1996-2001 3ES instantly; ditto the 2006-13 2IS.
However, it took me 5 years to accept the 4 headlights of the 2005-12 3GS.
Has taken me 2-3 years to accept the 4GS.
The 4GS really captured my attention when I saw this photo of an aftermarket "blacked-out" bumper; it's an alround neat looking exterior.
I find that the new 2016 GS F inspired 4.5GS Refresh front and rear end looks good at certain angles, but not so good at other angles, so I had to quickly sign on the dotted line before the 2015 ran out.
Normally, the newer styling is superior, but not always, because styling can be very subjective.
However, aside from styling, functionally the 2016 Refresh should certainly be better than the current 2015, because functionality is more objective.
