Default Red Taillight Overlay

Was never a fan of amber in taillights so this was one of the first things I had to do. Amazing how such a small piece of vinyl can make such a huge difference.

I had some leftover solution from whenever I tinted the windows at my house so I just used that. You can also use baby shampoo and water or soapy water even since it's such a small piece of vinyl.

Just clean the taillight, spray solution onto the overlay and position it on. Use a credit card or some flat edged piece of plastic to smooth it out and you're done.

I ended up cutting out extras in case I messed up. After installing them though I realize now that's pretty hard to do.

Looks great where did you buy them? Also how durable through car washes etc?

I have a 2015 and not had any luck finding any. Are they the same as the 2014's?

Unless the taillights have changed in 2015, should be the same. I don't think they're any different though.

This is one of the 1st mods I did. It has been over 10 months and it still looks seamless...

looks pretty cool, and seems very simple to apply. Good job

I wonder how your turn signals will look, are they still reasonably visible in the sun ?

I used the red over lays on my tail lights almost a year ago. 0 issues, plenty of car washes.
