I pinched the sidewall so Im some what concerned. So far no leaks but just don't know how much I damaged the integrity.

What is it with everyone having bad luck with their GS?! We've had firmware update problem, bumper scratches, lopsided GS, paint swirls, and of course my own car wash nightmare.

I've had the same problem, got my tire cut just like that and my rim scratched from the car wash rail. I'd get that tire replaced, mine was replaced for free cause I have the Wheel and Tire Protection plan but I haven't fixed my wheel yet cause I'm lazy.

Get it replaced or u'll be driving in fear of it blowing up all the time.

Feel your pain man :/
Drove through a bank drive through the other day and scuffed the wheel. Don't know who thinks that having a 2 inch high guide walls through a slim, curving drive through is a good idea, its the perfect tool to destroy rims.

My dream to bring these rims back in mint condition when the lease was over was dashed as soon as I heard that awful gut wrenching metal/cement grinding noise Its only been a month!

That looks exactly like what I did backing out of and end space where I just pinched the curb, at first thought I did no damage then looked and found it, and was sick for a few days, that was 4 months ago, holds air fine, car was just in dealership and they balanced tires no mention about a problem.

Been there and done that but I didn't get the tire. $143.75 to fix the rim.

That rim can be fixed pretty well but the tire needs to at least come off for an inspection and probably replacement.

Same thing happened to me, but worse with my brand new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tire. Luckily, I purchased the road warranty and got it replaced for free at America's tire. I called around and found a guy with great reviews on Yelp that does touch ups while you wait. He grinds it down, re-spays the paint and re-applies the clearcoat, all while still on the car and while you wait. Some of these folks even come out to your house. Anyway, he did a great job for around $75. It took about 75 mins. The wheel now looks brand new. I thought that refinishing the whole wheel would be overkill, not to mention geater expense in terms of time and cash. If you go this route or the whole-wheel refinishing route, I recommend trying Yelp in your area and find someone with really good reviews.

same happened to me, but mine had no rim damage. unless it's deep or showing threads, you should be ok. I've driving this way for months through hot so cal summer, mountains and freeways at 80+ to vegas with no issue.

Dunlop SUCKS.

Can someone explain to me how they fix the rim and how well it comes out? I did the same thing to my rim hitting a curb and it pains me to look at it.

If your going to hit a curb, do it right LOL

Just over 200 miles on my new GS before the back end slide out on a snow covered road!

Result, new bearing assembly, new winter tires and 5 new wheels. Costly way to find out the car is rear wheel biased

I am not entirely sure how they fix the rim (maybe sand it down and repaint it?) however I can tell you that the end result looks really good (at least in my situation). The quality is probably more dependent on the person performing the work then anything else.

I purchased my 2013 GS350 FSport used, and the drivers side front rim had been curbed, a few times. So as part of my purchase I requested the dealership to fix the rim, which they did. It looks like new, although I haven't washed it since the dealership fixed the rim so I have yet to do a real thorough inspection.

There are plenty of videos that show how alloy rim damage is fixed - filing, grinding, sanding, filling, painting, clear coating...
