I couldn't seem to keep my car clean from salt and slush for more than 2 days in a row. I wash it 2-3 times a week. Starting to think too many washes may not do good to the car. Rear bumper and side bottom seem to take most of the hit and quickly as soon as the tire comes into contact even if it's a small puddle. Think mud guards might do some good but can't seem to find one.

I find the trunk / rear bumper gets the worst of it.

I'm totally convinced that anytime the finish is touched by anything (literally), the more wear or damage there is to the car's finish. I'm also convinced that 99 out of 100 people who constantly are washing, cleaning, correcting, clay-baring, buffing, polishing, waxing, sealing, coating or glazing are [for the most part] doing a lot of unintentional damage to their car's finish. It doesn't surprise me at all when someone complains of having lots of swirls, yet this person is the only person to have ever touched his car's finish. Where does he think all the swirls in his car's finish came from? For some crazy reason he doesn't seem willing to accept that he is the reason, with all his touching, brushing, wiping, buffing and rubbing, that his car's finish has all those swirls he hates so much. All that work he does, thinking he is treating his car's finish to the absolute best care possible, and he is left to do nothing but (1) complain about the swirls he himself put in his finish, (2) buy loads and loads of various products, and (3) spend a whole lot of his time doing his best to (only) 'temporarily' hiding all those nasty swirl marks he himself caused...all while he makes even more swirl marks that must be 'temporarily' dealt with (e.g. filled/hidden) with yet more products!

Mine is SO filthy. I feel your pain. Weather has been terrible here, and after this sort of weather I always spray it down real well with a pressure washer before I get it washed. On top of that I've been swamped at work and haven't had time to stand in line for the pressure wash bay and then take it home and wash it or stand in line at the carwash with everybody in town.

Doesn't look *that* bad. if it was a darker color it would be a lot worse. I was talking to friends who live up there and were not happy at all with the snow. Where in MA are you? I went to school in Milton.

I don't know what it is with this car but it throws more slop and dirt on itself than any vehicle I've owned. I even put the Lexus mud guards from Japan on and it still throws stuff all down the sides of the car. Maybe thats the price for the tight cornering with the front end.
