Buying a new 2014 in 2015

The only way you'll get a 2014 GS with 40k miles for $35,000 or less in through a private party sale. Its impossible to get a 2014 with even that many miles from a dealer for $35,000 / taxes included. With only one exception. Ive seen a 2014 GS with no navigation, no blind spot, pretty much no options besides a back up camera. That you can probably get for $35,000 but no way fully loaded or F sport from a dealer.

So far I have found two dealers that were willing to come off 6k off the sticker. They said that was the best they could do but I didn't really push it. Just trying to get some info right now as I am still waiting on my insurance check. Thanks for all the thoughts so far. Was wondering if there is a way to tell if a 2014 has the lane departure from pictures? Also. My 2007 had 225k miles on it with very little mechanical issues. Any reason to expect any different with 2014?

no one can speak for the long time reliability of the 4gs yet obviously, but from what i see, the 4gs is a better build car. if anything i would only worry about the electronics, which is my worry on most cars these days anyway. so many things integrated and if the nav unit goes back, ouch.... it doesn't help when i was able to lock up my nav screen the first day i got mine and had to restart the car...

Surprised they haven't auctioned it out or turned it into a dealership loaner car..

Thanks for all the input. I was ready to buy a 2014 with 6200 miles on it in Atlanta for $42,900 (BSM, IPA, Power trunk) when I found a 2015 with 175 miles on it South Florida!! Has all the options I was looking for (BSM, IPA, and Power Trunk) Obsidian with Black interior. Original owner had the car for 2 weeks before trading it. Salesman said original owner bought it for his wife as a surprise, she didn't like it so they traded it for a Mercedes. Ended up paying $43,900 including dealers fees!! Going to pick it up this weekend!! Can't wait! I have been driving a rental Nissan Altima for two weeks now and ready to turn that piece of junk in!! Ordered a LED light for the trunk today. Got an appointment to get the windows tinted next week. Now trying to find a good installer for some paint protection film. Would love to be able to do the whole car as I am not looking forward to keeping up a black car but I sure as hell wasn't passing on this car!
Thanks
Thanks
