No way I want DCC. The comment about not having to use the gas pedal nor brake, just sent negative chills down my spine. If I get to the point where I want the car to drive itself, I will not be buying Lexus anymore. It wouldn't matter. I'd get something way cheaper. Part of the enjoyment would be gone.
I completely understand different strokes for different folks. My comment is no criticism to anyone. I just don't relate because I want to control the car.
Understood. Not something I really wanted or would use very often, just thought the technology was cool...

I feel the same way. I never use regular cruise control. The last time I used cruise control was well over 5 years ago. I could care less if any of my cars have it. I don't know if the cruise control even works on any of my cars...

Did you need to reset your tpms when you changed the pressure so drastically, or do your tpms lights come on now? The manual talks about this, though I could not find the reset button in my 2015 oddly.. did you just let the air out yourself and all is fine?

Also curious as to how you removed the moldings, and if you used a heat gun did you melt the moldings in the process or are they still good to sell or reuse?

I just let the air out. Didn't cause any issues with the monitoring system.

I chickened out and took the car to a body shop. They did use a heat gun and they came off in about 5 minutes. The area of the molding that actually attaches to the car is pretty minimal. The moldings are fine and I'll include them with any future sale.

Thanks for the reply,

Perhaps the reset is no longer required on the new models since there is no button (that I could find anyways) and you didn't seem to have to reset it even with the drastic pressure change. Maybe Lexus needs to update the Owners Manual?

Glad your moldings didn't get melted by the heat gun, and you are diggin the clean body panels!
