120km/hr is "normal speed" here. You can get a ticket if you go faster though (even though our speed limit it 100km/hr). It's not like the states where a trooper will pull you over for doing 5mph over on the highway.

Isn't going WOT at least once a day the proper way to break in the engine?

Taking my regular 26km route on a single lane highway affords plenty of opportunity. Nothing like a bad day at work that results in a fun drive home

One of my coworkers is a Subara nut, always bragging how much fun it is to drive his Sporty little cars. The other night I was following him and another car. Pinned it and was doing 210km/hr before I pulled back into my lane, kinda scared me a bit when I pulled back in and looked at the speedo!

Next day, "that new car of yours pulls pretty hard", yup

P.S. It wasn't a smart thing to do! Winter roads, not to mention loosing my license and use of my car if caught.

I drive fast. Definitely wot once a day. I don't drive like an idiot, I just prefer to be going a little faster than everyone else.

wish we joined the rest of the modern world and raised the speed limits a bit.

its been proven, faster speed limits dont cause accidents, traffic cameras do!

*UPDATE*

Well as of yesterday I have officially broken the "never" mark. I left work a bit early so the roads wouldn't have as much traffic as normal and that turned out to be a great idea. I got to experience WOT from a few dead stops (nothing two fast as the subsequent stop lights were not in my favor) and then a 65-110mph run which felt effortless.

The orchestra of that motor is a great experience at WOT. For those 5 other "never" I definitely suggest giving it a go at least once

Now that gas is so cheap, I have given up on ECO mode. It's either normal or Sport and Sport + mode. My local Costco had gas for $2.35 a gallon for premium yesterday. I haven't seen prices like that since the late 90s.
