I'd love to see some pics as well. I'm in the same boat and would prefer not to lower my car

i wouldnt lower it, im guessing your GS came with factory 18s so your going 2 sizes up which is a pretty substantial, along with lowering it, the ride dynamics will greatly change. I would just put the wheels on.

Wouldnt installing 20" rims make your ride higher due to increased diameter of the wheel?

cant be, the tires on the 20s are just low profile. Your pretty much swapping rubber for metal, or aluminum.

I was staring at my car today, realized that a drop would be pretty nice...then realized from past experiences that a drop+ new bigger rims = horrendous bumpy rough ride .......heres hoping someone with experience in dropping+bigger rim size please chime in and change my mind. Not keen on dropping car to have to drive 10mph everywhere avoiding pot holes and such, that was a horrendous experience in previous whip

They're similar to the Vossen but I Dnt have Vossen $ and I've been told Vossen quality is slipping especially for the higher prices their pulling. I'll definitely post pics later this week for the rest of you who are in the same boat lol.

What's the brand, size fitment, etc. of the wheels you got there? Just curious.

here you go, I posted a pic of my GS350 on 20s at stock height. I had my 3GS lowered with tanabe NF210s and my grand prix lowered with Eibach, but kept this car stock height because I wanted the comfortable ride with the bigger rims. At some angles it looks like a 4x4 which sucks and at some angels it looks good. When you ride with people in the car, it balances out. I think if I lower again, it would def be air to maintain the soft cloud ride feel no matter how big the rim.

Lowered on Tanabes with stock wheels: ride is almost identical to stock but with better handling.
Lowered on Tanabes with SSR CV01 20x9 +39, 20x10 +44: ride is stiffer but not harsh (even in sport+ mode, dampening in the F sport is amazing). Slight rub in the fronts only when going over dips at high speed due to low offset. If your offset isn't too aggressive, rubbing would not be an issue. And yes, without a drop, the GS looks like a 4x4. IMO, the 4GS looks better with a drop on stock wheels than big wheels with no drop--but to each their own. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much. Can you post a side view?

Nice pic and wheels. But could you post multiple pics at different angles? Maybe a side shot from a few feet away?
