Default Leaves and debris from grille settle at bottom of radiator

I was a bit surprised to see that I have a handful of leaves and debris that came through the front grille and settled at the bottom front portion of the radiator. Maybe I've been outracing and overtaking the fallen autumn leaves in my travels.

Do you regularly clean out leaves and debris from in front of the radiator? Do you remove the engine compartment front cover (6~8 fasteners) to gain easy access for cleaning?

U can if want to. I think removing that cover is easier and more convenient than removing the bumper.

I've got small leaves too, not that much cause the FSport grilles have smaller openings than the slanted normal GS grilles.

Yeah, not much gets through the F Sport grille.

Yes, I started a discussion a month or two ago. I believe someone posted a diagram on which engine cover to remove. I used my hand and a vacuum hose for cleaning mine. Just realized what I typed but hopefully everyone knows I am talking about the car.

Okay, I'll try to search for your thread.

It looks like removing the front cover (at hood latch) should give quick and easy access to the front of the radiator.
