The teaser had me so hyped and I have to say I'm kinda disappointed with the preview pictures.

On a side note there are some features that I'd like to retrofit into my F-Sport, especially this! Someone please figure out if they can retrofit the TFT cluster.

From a looks standpoint, I'm not feelin' it. As others have said, it looks like they grafted an RC front bumper on a GS and smoked the taillights. I will go one step further and say it looks like a kit car (or "boy racer" car). The GS has a big, square body and they have added a rounded, swoopy nose to it. Doesn't fit. It almost works with the F side skirts, but I'm afraid to see what it will look like on a standard F Sport model without all the side tricks.

I'm hoping I will like it more in person because I've been waiting to trade my '13 for a '16 F or F Sport. Maybe it's not in the cards.

I hate to say it but........ I think it's ugly. Sure, there are new touches that I like. Absolutely. But the car as a whole just doesn't look good to me.

my honest opinion here
as a MY14 GS350 F owner and a ISF owner

i didnt jump the gun on the RCF as i knew the GSF was around the corner
in my opinion they got the styling right interior (yes the F treatment)
but the engine is the same 2URGSE as the RCF
The GS is a upper class car compared to the IS/RC
it gets me wondering what was lexus thinking when they put the 2URGSE out of the RCF into the GSF?
Same motor but heavier car?
i think its the wrong move to put same engines in a different class car with no power difference
if the GSF motor was tuned to make more than 467hp then we might have a different story

M3/M4 is RCF rival in the class
GSF and M5 are rivals or suppose to be?
looses out on everything pretty much bar the weight and handling
iv waited for the new F lineup to impress me
the RCF did impress me somewat and i got let down by the weight (which i can live with)
but the GSF is a huge let down on the mechancial arragements

GSF and RCF are practically the same weight, never mind the fact that the GS is a much larger car and can sit 5 comfortably. GSF is not a competitor to the M5, the M5s engine will dust this car, thats why the M5 is $115k easily. GSF wont be that price, it will probably be a little more expensive than a 550 M Sport which will easily be beaten by a GSF that weighs 300# lighter with more power.

I think the original nose suits the GS just right, whereas the new nose appears too sharp and pointy for the more rounded canopy?

The original tail lights with an "obtuse" L-angle suits more than the new tail light lenses with a sharper more "acute" L-angle?
The whole new tail is too sharp and edgy for the more rounded 4GS canopy?

I think I like the original 4GS steering wheel over the new 3IS-based steering wheel with the new more circular center hub, and those new squarish 5-way navigation switches?

I thought the original 2007 4LS looked better than the facelifted 2012 4.5LS too.
However, that's just my tastes though.

The September 2015 facelifted 4.5GS won't necessarily look like this GS F at all, but it is very likely to look like this GS F.
I'll probably have to decide quickly and purchase the original 2015 4GS before it ceases production possibly in a just few months...

great looking vehicle, but i dont like when the daytime running lights are separate than the headlight itself. I like it to be integrated within the headlight like the GS and LS. Other than that looks awesome.

Oh, wow! I just noticed the steering wheel buttons. That is definitely a step down. Looks like they came from the Corolla parts bin. Very cheap looking.

but one may still wonder
M3/M4 = ISF/RCF

M5 = GSF?

F was created to rival the M which is the top performance line up in their respective models
not to compete against mid performance models such as 550 or S6? etc?

Maybe Lexus has the GS-FS up its sleeves?

So :

GSF=550=E550=S6

GS-FS=M5=E63AMG=RS6

I do like the darker clock face, makes it easier to see the clock hands at a glance.

I am a bit disapointed that the GSF still has the remote touch joystick mouse thingy instead of track pad like NX and RC. But i do like the fact that there is a back button now! But I got another slap on the face when i saw the enter button....... why have a side enter button? I hated the side enter button on 1st gen remote touch and now they put it back? I hope i can still press enter by pressing down on the hockey puck in addition to side enter button.

to be honest i lost my hope on lexus(, there is no way GSF will compete even with basic bmw F10 550, 550 will eat it for breakfast! V8 4.4 stock 0-60 4.3 sec with JB4 chip 3.7-3.8 sec.
i guess i will stick with BMW.

such a disappointment...

I agree with many of your comments about those two tone seats. Looks hideous!

And I'm not feeling that look either. It's a cluster duck of a design. My lease is up in 6 months and sadly do not see myself in any of these new F cars.
