Default Finally got the GS!

Went with the GS over the IS and could not be happier! My biggest kicker was comfortability. This is my first car purchase
2013 GS350 RWD Luxury Package Black Leather Linear Espresso Wood BSM/ML/IPA.
After taxes, registration, and added warranty came out to around $44,???. Don't remember exact price and too lazy to go get the papers. Was previously leased by the Lexus Dealership manager (pm for dealership) for 11 months and had 19,000 miles on it. Do all luxury packages have the sport/sport+ mode on them? (It's in the short video). I'll be shipping this baby to Hawaii. Myself and my GS shall reunite in February :

Congratulations, you will love the car! You can tell you have the Sport + if the selector **** says sport and +. You get to that by turning it twice clockwise.

Congratulations! Great choice! I love the Linear Espresso wood trim and wish we could get it in our GS F Sports. I'm sure you will enjoy many happy miles of driving in your GS.

Haha! No, it's just a fact. It's bad on most any metal.

True, do you know of any ways to help prevent rusting?

Hopefully while I'm there I can lower the GS and pray I get my hands on a set of those VLE-1's from Vossen if not I'll default for the VFS-1's.

Not really. There is nothing much you can do protect your new GS except try to keep a good coat of wax or protective coating on it. The Hawaiian climate is often humid and rainy, and it naturally has a high salt air environment. Anything made of iron (e.g. steel) will eventually have corrosion and rust, and it will shorten the life of many other metal components as well - causing high maintenance.
