Default 2015 GS350 Radio Volume Default

Got a question I hope someone can answer as I can't find a way to set it in my GS.

Every time I start the car and turn on the radio, enforum, etc. the volume is always at 22 which is LOUD. I'd rather have it start where I was before or set it 8 or 9. I've gone through the settings and looked through the manual, but don't see a way to set the volume.

Thanks

Thats strange...my 2014 GS keeps the last setting that i have when i turned off the car. Whether that setting was 0, 22, or 45 its stays that way and also remembers different volums for different sources.

That's a new one for me too. My audio volume comes On at crank-up where it was last set.

I suspect the 'Setup' for 'Audio' may be something to look at.

Yes it is odd, though it tends to happen on enForum Pandora all the time even if I switch to XM or FM and then go back to Pandora - level goes right back to 22.

I'll be taking it to the dealer for the 1000 mile checkup in a couple of weeks so I'll ask them about it then.

New system glitch maybe? Cause I don't remember ever having that problem with the older system and never saw an option to change that. U can set the default volume for the phone and ringer but not the master volume.

IIRC, on my car the volume is remembered per source. So if you had it at 22 on Pandora, then switch to XM and it is at 8 and then turn off the car - turn back on the car and switch to Pandora it would be 22. Could that be part of it?

I have the 2015 and mine doesn't do that. Instead when I turn on any media source, it keeps it at the same level it was last time i used that particular media source. Each media source has it's own volume level memory.

Sounds like its programmed to your key fob. It remembers a lot, seat, ac, radio station, SAT, mirrors, volume. lock your car, walk away, then come back with just the other fob. If you program a key fob with a seat memory button, it memorizes the settings for every thing else too. It makes it easy for his and hers settings that way.

I'll have to try setting the volume lower and then re-save the seat memory. Seems odd though that it changes back to "22" even while driving if I move off Pandora and then back to it.

Anyone know if there is a fix for or setting for adjustment for this default audio volume of 22 at start up? My 2016 does this for Pandora/ Iheart radio apps. It's annoying.
