Default My take on the eBay Front Lip Spoiler

It's sheety!!! But so are most other aftermarket parts.

Fitment is bad, the screw holes don't line up with OEM holes, the build quality is not that great. It took a lot of energy and cursin' to make it fit.

I installed it anyway cause I just don't want to go through the hassle of returning cause this thing is BIG! But I kinda like the end result. I only used 3M double sided tape all around since the screw holes don't align and I don't want to drill holes on my bumper.

The lip isn't actually touching my bumper, I put 10-lbs-rated 3M tape all around the edges and it seems pretty strong cause I couldn't take it off again!!! lol Then I put some Back to Black to shine it and make the unpainted black surface looks better.

So you were able to install the lip with only double sided tape?

Have you driven at freeway speeds with no issue?

I am planning to get the lip but I am reluctant to put holes in the bumper.

I agree, the fit isn't great.

I had my local body shop paint it and install it. I think having a black car helps hide some of the small gaps (unless you walk right up to it). A lot of people don't even realize it's aftermarket.

Hey Guy's even though it doesn't fit Flush, I think both of them came out looking great.
And you can't really tell much that there off on the fitment which is a Plus..

Yea, unless ur a foot close to the car u can't see the gap, very little.

The white stuff ur seeing under the bumper is not a gap, that's the reflection of my bumper cause the lip is shiny now.

I'm going to drive it around town in a bit and on the freeway later after work and see if it falls off. lol But this thing is very strong, it took a lot of force to take this off when I misaligned one corner, and the adhesive wasn't even fully bonded. Now that they're completely bonded I don't think it'll move at all.

I'm not lowered.

Ok, been driving hard around town and it did not move a bit, so I think it's good.

op that thing is gonna fall right off once you scrape something, my body shop guy told me that. I installed mine a few days and asked about tape bc i was reluctant to drill holes too and he told me that

i have a small *** gap on the left gap and a somewhat noticeable one on of the right side but whatever it was only a 100 bucks cant complain

overall i think it looks nice

I might of luck out on mine.....was able to line up with the four screws under the engine splash shield and screwed the rest of the lip to the bumper.

Change the whole look of your car.....looks nice

I think my bumper will fall off with it cause it's really tight, I can't even take this off again. It feels like I'll snap this into pieces if I do.

Oh and the side of the lip cracked my paint a little, it was rubbing. But it's covered by the lip so I can't see it. lol

The only problem I anticipate is that drastic changes in temperature and the elements (rain/snow) will debond the lip over time. Before you know it, you'll be driving around at high speeds (wind downforce) and BAM, there goes your lip.

I park outside and I did some high speed driving to work this morning and still ok. But I'll keep an eye on it and if it starts to loosen I'll just take it off. lol
